Actually in exactly 7 days time, it will all be over...hopefully I will be sitting somewhere comfortable and not complaining of too many aches :)
Usually after a long long run, the plan is to go straight to Pioneer Stadium and sit in the spa pool for half an hour...sitting strategically so that jet streams are aimed directly towards calves. Bliss!
I am going to do three more 6km runs on Monday-Wednesday, rest for Thursday and do a fun/easy 2-3km run on Friday, rest on Saturday.
Am struggling with a sore muscle on front of hip area on left side - have no idea what this muscle is called - but very sore when running. Will just keep rubbing anti-inflam and plod on...
A week to go....gee how time flies!!!
