Today it is Malcolm's 40th birthday - happy birthday honey! Last night's surprise birthday party did not happen...it will be postponed until we know what is happening to Christchurch. No one wants (or should have to) to travel to Christchurch at the moment anyway!
Malcolm appears to have the day off working in town...he is on call. So we are going to head out to some of his friends at Burnham (Army Camp) to do some laundry and have some showers.
Rescue/Recovery is still happening in town (and it will for days/weeks). We only want a miracle now. There have been no survivors found since Wednesday...we live in hope.
