Finally! I have stopped making excuses and am back to my training. I have been running each day for the last 5 days and man...do I feel better! It has been hard work (a lot of hard work was undone in the last few weeks).
My friend Bridget and I have decided to be running buddies and not let each other say no to a run. It has worked well so far.
We are running the City to Surf this Sunday. If I had kept up my running training like I should have I would be able to run it quite comfortably. However...this year it may be a run/walk type of race. I would still like to get as close as I can to completing the run in 85 minutes though...
