Well, Friday did not bode too well in my Celebrity Slim method of losing some unwanted weight. It all began with one of my students bringing me a piece of their mother's birthday cake to eat for my morning tea (how could I refuse???)...it was scrummy chocolate cake! Once 10.30am swung by, I dismissed my class and hoovered the cake on my way up to the staffroom. Once up in the staffroom, I discovered that Shane (my principal) had baked a friendship cake (a cake made from a bug - which is made from flour, sugar and water, I think, which has sat in a jar for a month)...it was such a weird concept so I had to try a piece (be rude not to!)...delicious! So it is now 10.45am and I have scoffed two largish pieces of cake (both of which consisted mainly of carbohydrates!).
Lunchtime came around and I am back on track...drinking water and my CS breakfast bar (cranberry and sultana)...roll on 3pm! At 3pm Cathy (another teacher) and I head over to Misceo Cafe for a coffee. However...Cathy also purchased a Raspberry and White Chocolate muffin with her coffee...and proceeded to make me (she did!) eat half of it. Argghhh!
I drive home with the intention of going swimming with Malcolm (as arranged earlier that day) at the Pioneer Stadium (I was going to do 40 lengths to make up for my sins that day)...except Malcolm arrived home from work later than usual and by that time meither of us could be bothered going.
So...why not go all out and head to the mall for tea??? I tried to be good...I chose chinese food without any noodles and rice. Day over...mmmm! Not even going to bother writing my menu for that day...hopeless!
Saturday - was a much better day! I even spent most of the morning baking cookies (anzac biscuits, chocolate cookies, and m&m cookies). I made enough to drop some baking off to Malc and his mates in Rolleston (where he is painting his car), Cherie (her birthday last Thursday), Daniel (my old flatmate's 10 year son who spent the day with me), and of course some for home (for Malc to munch on)...I did not even have a mouthful of cookie dough either! How good (or stupid) am I!?!?!?!
Breakfast - peppermint tea, CS shake (cafe latte), glass of water
Morning tea - none
Lunch - scrambled eggs
Afternoon tea - cappacino (coffeew ith Cherie and Daniel in Rolleston)
Tea - savoury mince (in which I put too much salt! oops!), brocolli and mushrooms
Supper - peppermint tea
I stood on the scales this morning. I have not lost anything sonce last weekend...whcih is very annoying! But I am still 86.1kg...so that is still 3.6kg lost.
