So Christchurch has almost had 400 aftershocks this week...no wonder we are a bit frazzled! When I checked before, the number was 397...and we just had another one about 3 minutes ago...so that makes 398.
In fact...we are a bit lax at our house...instead of leaping to a doorway or assuming the 'turtle' position...we just sit there and say "did you feel that one" or something similiar. Oops.
Anyway, tonight marks a whole week since the first big 7.1 quake. 7 mornings ago we woke up because the house was swaying, shaking and rumbling...
PS - just put the co-ordinates of that last shock into google maps...exactly 9km from our house!!! No wonder we felt it!
