So it was a lazy Sunday today...why not???
After a bit of a sleep in, Malc and I decided to visit the Riccarton Markets. Neither of us had been there for ages, it was a glorious day, so it was a great day for a leisurely wander around the markets. I spotted some jams for sale, and low and behold...they had crab apple jelly!!! Yum Yum! My mum used to make this when I was a child and it was my favourite...especially on toast with peanut butter. I had to purchase some!
Other purchases were a 5kg bag of Agria potatoes and a huge pumpkin (for $4 altogether - bargain!), and some breakfast - cornish pastie for Malc, and a whitebait fritter sandwich for me.
Following the visit to the markets, Malc did some work on his car (he is doing up a 1971 Valiant Pacer), while I read some, watched tv some, then decided I should 'do' something. So I headed to the mall with the intention of buying some butter and fruit. I came out with a new address book, summer dress, herbs to plant in the garden (mint, thyme, coriander, parsley and catnip), butter, apples, tin-foil, stewing steak, olivio spread and a snickers bar. NOT BAD!!!
I spent some of the afternoon weeding the part of our garden which will our herb garden, and planted the new herbs...looks good!
I then prepared pork and veges to roast for tea.
No 'real' exercise. It is a Sunday afterall. But I an heading to the gym tomorrow morning for "pump" at 6.10am and will follow it with 30 mins of treadmill/cycle action too.
